Employee Relations Manager (Bangkok Based)

G4S Security Services (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our Human Resources Department in Bangkok. This crucial role reports directly to the Human Resources Director. We are looking for a resilient professional ready to step into a demanding but rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

As the Employee Relations Manager, you will lead the Employee Relations Division of seven staff, including the Central Administration Team and Security Guard License Team, ensuring all activities align with divisional and company goals.

Labor Relations & Compliance

  • Handle all aspects of labor law compliance and advise business leaders.
  • Manage employee grievances, complaints (local and via Speak Out), labor disputes, and court cases.
  • Act as the Point of Contact for Labor Protection & Social Welfare, coordinating with the Legal Division.
  • Ensure employee compliance with Company Policies, Working Instructions, Company Rules & Regulations, and the G4S Business Code of Conduct.

Investigations & Disciplinary Actions

  • Manage employee misconduct, disciplinary actions, and employment terminations, ensuring proper and legal resolution.
  • Responsible for required documentation, including Investigation Reports, Case Evidence, Warning Letters, and Termination Letters.

Policy & Strategy

  • Develop, review, and implement ER-related Company Policies, Working Instructions, Rules & Regulations, and the Employee Handbook.
  • Work with the Business Unit/Dept. Heads to build and maintain good Employee Relations across all levels of the company.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage the Employee Relations team, ensuring goals and objectives are achieved successfully and in a timely manner. Direct reports include the Employee Relations Advisor, Central Administration Supervisor, and Security Guard License Senior Officer.

Essential Requirements

Experience & Education

  • At least 10 years of working experience in the same or a similar role.
  • Previous experience from a similar type of business, such as an international manufacturer, logistics, or retail company, is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration is required.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Thai labor law and regulations is essential.
  • Advanced English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) are mandatory for drafting reports and interacting with multinational stakeholders, including regional and global offices.
