Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Employee Relations & Labor Law Specialist professional to join our People & Culture team. This role serves as a trusted advisor on both labor law and employee relations, ensuring the company maintains full legal compliance while fostering a fair, respectful, and engaging workplace. The ideal candidate brings strong legal acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex people situations with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on Thai labor law, employment regulations, and compliance requirements across the organization
- Review and maintain employment contracts, HR policies, and company regulations to ensure legal compliance and consistency
- Partner with HR, Legal and business leaders to manage employee relations issues - including, but not limited to, grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns - ensuring fair, lawful, and consistent outcomes
- Represent the company in labor disputes, negotiations, or government inspections when necessary
- Monitor legislative updates and regulatory changes, advising leadership and HR on their business impact
- Support initiatives that strengthen employee communication, workplace fairness, and engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in labor law, employee relations, or HR legal advisory, preferably within large or listed organizations
- In-depth knowledge of Thai labor laws, employment litigation, and industrial relations frameworks
- Proven experience managing employee relations cases with sound judgment and confidentiality
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a practical and solution-focused mindset
- Fluency in English is an advantage
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and trusted to handle sensitive matters with integrity
- Empathetic yet firm, and composed under pressure
