Project Background
This is a localization project for a leading ICT company in China. The project has strict quality requirements, and we are looking for a dedicated EN–TH Linguistic Quality Specialist for long-term remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Review translations submitted by linguists to ensure they meet quality standards, and report errors in a timely manner.
- Support internal quality audits and cross-checks, and provide suggestions on quality management and implementation.
- Assist with client-side quality reviews and audits, and potentially participate in quality-related communication with the client.
- Provide support for translation and/or proofreading tasks when required.
- Be able to handle tasks with relatively tight turnaround times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Thai speaker with English proficiency at IELTS 6.5 or above (or equivalent). Basic Chinese reading or communication skills are a plus.
- At least 5 years of localization experience(UI) in linguistic quality management, translation, or proofreading.
- Highly detail-oriented, responsible, and patient.
- Available for long-term remote collaboration, with a stable availability of 4–8 hours per day. Able to communicate via WeChat in a timely manner.
- Willing to complete an unpaid test and/or participate in a remote interview if required.
