BMS Engineer – Data Center Operations (Thailand)
Job Summary
Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure reliable, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of critical data center infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, and environmental control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, integrate, and commission BMS solutions for data center facilities.
- Program and maintain BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Tridium Niagara).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve BMS alarms, system faults, and critical incidents.
- Support HVAC, cooling, power, and environmental control systems to maintain uptime requirements.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for BMS hardware and software.
- Analyze system performance and recommend energy optimization improvements (PUE).
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, compliance reports, and support system upgrades.
- Collaborate with facilities, IT teams, vendors, and contractors on operations and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of BMS experience, preferably in data centers or critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of BMS platforms, HVAC controls, electrical systems, and data center infrastructure.
- Experience with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with data center standards (TIA-942, ASHRAE TC 9.9) preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- BMS vendor certification (Siemens/Honeywell) or energy management certification is an advantage.
