About The Role
Facility Engineer, Facility engineer is responsible for all aspects of site Facility Engineering management activities. This includes Planning, administration, directing and controlling overall site facility related functions. Understand all elements of building structure, HVAC systems, Electrical and Mechanical systems.
Your Team
This position will work with Senior Facility manager and Facility technician for maintain and improvement the whole Facility Engineering department.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate with other function department to layout or re-layout the site for maximal and effective space utilization.
- Develop and prepare process flow and WI for all facility systems routine and preventive maintenance programs.
- Continuous implement improvement program on all facility functional works to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Perform facility and equipment audits to assure a well-maintained facility and practice continuous improvement.
- Train subordinates the proper and effective way to operate, setup and troubleshooting all facility machineries.
- Effectively use PC based CAD programs to develop detained facility drawings and any machine modifications.
- Evaluate spare parts needs and maintain an acceptable inventory integrity.
- Coordinate with other function department to practice and maintain a high standard of EH&S practices.
- Effective cost control on all facilities utilization and minimize energy wastage.
- Oversee facility expansion activities on a day-to-day basis to maintain excellent quality control, schedule and contractor relationship. Attend all weekly progress review meeting to ensure project timing is within plan.
- Work with facility team to perform high standard output to support manufacture operation and let the team member willing to solve all kinds of problem proactively.
- Handle all kinds of facility related accident and emergency incident.
- Perform any other duties to support the operation.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years related experience and 1-2 years management experience at least.
- Having good knowledge of electrical power distribution / HVAC system and plumbing and landscape maintenance experience.
- Good reading, written and spoken skills in English.
- Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Strong sense of Responsibility
- Good emergency incident handling ability.
- Good cross department communication ability.
- Good communication ability with government.
- Manufacture plant construction experience.
- Sound knowledge for support quality system, like as TS16949, ISO14000 etc.
- Have FM certificated factory operation experience.
