Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis to identify machine issues, implement containment actions, and drive long-term corrective solutions.
• Monitor Media Salvage performance including AOI yield and scrap rate trigger corrective actions when abnormal conditions or equipment/tooling failures occur.
• Record and analyze machine interruptions, summarize issues, and report to Supervisor for further investigation and permanent fixes.
• Propose and implement improvement ideas for problem solving, process optimization, and machine performance enhancement.
• Provide technical and maintenance support, including machine setup, preventive maintenance, repair activities, and manufacturing/work instruction guidance related to Media Salvage processes.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degreein Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in PLC programming for tooling or manufacturing equipment
• Strong in communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and email
• Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis for process monitoring and improvement

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of HMI / Touch Screen software
• Familiarity with ISO quality management systems
• Experience in tooling manufacturing, jig & fixture, or automation equipment

SKILLS:

• PLC and HMI (Touch Screen) software programming
• Statistical data analysis and interpretation
• Troubleshooting and improvement of tooling and manufacturing processes
• Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/speak)
