About the Role
Provide engineering and technical support for electronics manufacturing operations, including production equipment, testing equipment, product repair, process improvement, and productivity enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve equipment, testing, and product-related issues during production.
- Identify root causes quickly and develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Responsible for the installation, setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement of production and testing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure stable production operations.
- Perform electronic product testing, failure analysis, and repair.
- Analyze electrical failures based on schematics, test data, and measurement results, and drive improvement of electrical defect issues.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and trial production activities, including evaluation and improvement of production equipment, testing solutions, fixtures, manufacturing processes, and production feasibility.
- Drive continuous improvement of production lines, including productivity, equipment utilization, line balancing, time study, manpower planning, production layout, and automation improvement.
- Prepare and improve related engineering documents, including SOPs, work instructions, equipment maintenance documents, testing documents, and engineering improvement reports.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, R&D, and other related departments to analyze abnormalities, improve product quality, and ensure effective problem closure.
- Promote continuous improvement activities such as KAIZEN, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and automation projects to improve productivity and product yield while reducing manufacturing costs.
- Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma, Higher Vocational Certificate, Bachelor's degree, or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
- Experience: Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, PCBA, power supply products, or other related manufacturing industries is preferred. Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant engineering experience are preferred. Outstanding fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Technical Background: Candidates should have experience or knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical or production equipment maintenance and improvement; electronic product testing and test equipment; product repair, failure analysis, and electrical troubleshooting; or Industrial Engineering, including line balancing, time study, layout planning, and productivity improvement.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and relevant knowledge in mechanical systems, electrical systems, electronic circuits, testing, manufacturing processes, or industrial engineering.
- Skills: Ability to use relevant engineering tools or equipment such as CAD, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Electronic Load, ATE, ICT, or other tools related to the candidate's engineering specialization.
- Language: Basic English communication skills are required. Candidates who can communicate effectively in English or Chinese will be given additional consideration.
