ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for supporting the organization's quality objectives as follows:
Quality Improvement Support:
Support the implementation of part quality improvement activities at supplier sites under the guidance of senior engineers or supervisors.
Defect Rate Reduction:
Assist in reducing defective part rates and support the achievement of overall quality targets.
Quality Documentation & Production Support:
Assist in preparing and maintaining quality documentation and provide basic technical support for component-related production issues.
Supplier Corrective Action Support:
Support the execution and follow-up of supplier corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
Failure Analysis Follow-up:
Follow up on Failure Analysis (FA) activities at suppliers and support timely closure.
Quality Issue Documentation:
Prepare and issue Corrective Action Requests (CAR) or Quality Notifications in the internal quality system.
Performance Data Review:
Review assigned supplier performance dashboard data and report issues or initial improvement ideas to senior engineers.
Ad-hoc Quality Support:
Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
Authority
To perform the role effectively, the incumbent is authorized to:
Task-level Decision Making:
Make decisions related to assigned tasks under supervision.
Requisition Proposal:
Propose purchase requisitions for tools or materials required for assigned work.
Improvement Suggestions:
Suggest process or product quality improvements within the assigned area of responsibility.
