Position: Engineering Manager

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and oversee all engineering activities for a major Liquid Ethane/LNG storage tank project in Thailand. The role requires a strong background in engineering design and construction within the oil & gas or LNG sectors and a comprehensive understanding of Thai regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary engineering team and ensuring coordination across procurement, construction, and design functions. This role plays a critical part in maintaining design integrity, schedule adherence, and interface alignment throughout the engineering and construction phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering team across all disciplines, ensuring high-quality design deliverables and integration.
- Maintain oversight of project schedule and progress, reporting deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Act as the focal point between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure design compliance and execution readiness.
- Ensure compliance with Thai engineering regulations, codes, and standards, including obtaining required Council of Engineers (COE) approvals.
- Review and approve key technical documents and construction drawings in alignment with Thai statutory requirements.
- Drive coordination with international EPCC contractors (China, Korea, or local Thai firms).
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of engineering experience, ideally in large-scale EPCC projects involving LNG, liquid ethane, or refrigerated tank systems.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline).
- Valid and current Council of Engineers Thailand license (COE certificate is mandatory to sign-off and approve engineering drawings).
- Experience with similar project scopes (tank farms, LNG, or cryogenic storage systems) is highly desirable.
- Strong interface management skills, especially with procurement and construction teams.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Must be based in Thailand and legally authorized to work.
