POSITION: ENGINEERING MANAGER
SALARY: 70,000 - 80,000 Baht/month
Engineering Manager is responsible for maintaining and providing regular maintenance to the buildings and facilities while managing and collaborating Engineering teams. Service and assists in the operational aspects of the Engineering Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain the production and distribution of water, heat, light and power as conditions require.
- Generate, purchase and distribute necessary electric power, water, and steam required at condition/pressure required.
- Produce, supply, exhaust, clean, circulate, cool, heat, humidity, dehumidify air as necessary to maintain specified temperature, humidity and comfort.
- Observe daily, the HLP consumption and promptly action when needed. Collect, process, treat and dispose of all refuse regularly.
- Provide proper operation, maintenance and repairs in accordance with the design engineer's specifications and manufacture recommendations.
- Read the engineering log book daily and take action as required.
- Inspect that all equipment is in good condition and is being correctly operated. Provide recommended repairs to equipment as needed.
Fire Alarm System Management Responsibilities
The Engineering Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Fire Alarm System within the property. This includes:
- Leading the Engineering team in handling the inspection, testing, maintenance, and monitoring of all fire alarm systems, ensuring they are fully operational at all times.
- Coordinating and overseeing repairs or replacements of faulty fire alarm components with contractors or suppliers as necessary.
- Ensuring all works and system operations are in compliance with local fire safety standards, regulations, and codes.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs for audit and compliance purposes.
- Supporting the Security Department by participating in the planning and execution of fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises as required.
- Providing technical advice and recommendations to management regarding fire safety system upgrades or improvements.
- Acting as the primary contact for fire alarm system service providers and local fire authorities concerning system operations and compliance.
Qualification:
- Thai National
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years experience in facilities and asset management
- Solid understanding of building systems and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems.
- Strong grasp of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient in English with a strong command of both written and spoken forms.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and supervisory skills.
