Responsible for leading all engineering, maintenance, and facility operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure maximum machine efficiency, safety, and compliance with ISO standards. The role drives TPM implementation, continuous improvement, cost reduction, and supports sustainable manufacturing performance in the cable production industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and control all engineering and maintenance systems of the manufacturing plant.
- Lead, manage, and develop the engineering team to achieve departmental KPIs and company objectives.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum machine efficiency and availability.
- Establish and manage TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) systems to reduce machine breakdown and downtime.
- Analyze root causes of machine and equipment failures and implement preventive improvement actions.
- Design, modify, and improve machinery to enhance production performance and productivity.
- Manage engineering projects, including repair, construction, and improvement works according to plans and schedules.
- Plan and control spare parts inventory and procurement for machines and equipment used in the factory.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce production costs.
- Plan and control facility and utility systems such as electrical systems, water supply, and plant infrastructure.
- Develop technical competencies and skills of engineering team members.
- Implement energy saving programs, cost reduction initiatives, and prepare relevant reports.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 7 years of experience in engineering and maintenance functions. Experience in cable manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
- Good planning, systematic working, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, KAIZEN, and OEE will be an advantage.
