About our group:

The HGA Test Engineering (HTE) oversees and upkeeps electrical testing equipment vital for manufacturing operations. This involves ensuring dependable testing capabilities by conducting routine maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements to avoid any hardware or software issues in the testing equipment. Effective collaboration with the manufacturing, script/firmware, process, Industrial Engineering team, and other pertinent teams is essential for improving the testing procedures and guaranteeing their efficacy.

About the role - you will:

• Set up and calibrate electronics systems by following schematics and diagrams.
• Fix equipment breakdown by providing diagnosing problems and follow systematic troubleshooting either electronics or mechanics and making necessary repairs / reworks / recycles.
• Generate 1st level of equipment and Electrical Test data interpretation and analysis, with reporting to concerned teams.
• Conduct service checks and performing routine Preventive Maintenance to keep electronic equipment functioning properly e.g., ComET Tester, CSS Tester, electronic workbenches.
• Communicate with operators, engineers, and supervisors to understand problems and provide progress updates to both internal and external functional departments.
• Give demonstrations on safe use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.

About you:

• Able to work on shift patterns.
• Problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and devise solutions.
• Observational skills to notice potential problems during work.
• Demonstrated proficiency at interpreting diagrams and schematics.
• Written communication skills to keep accurate, easy-to-understand reports.
• Possess working English.
• Ability to operate tools such as multimeters, soldering stations, precision screwdrivers, oscilloscope, spectrum, and to distinguish between various colors of wiring.
• Interpersonal and oral communication skills to interact, collaborate and provide instruction.
• Deep familiarity with circuitry, wiring and splicing.
