Process Technology Development (PTD) is one of the core teams located at theSeagate Slider Factory in Korat, Thailand. We play a vital role in supporting the slider manufacturing process, with a strong focus oncleanliness control,defect reduction, andsupporting new technologies- whether in manufacturing processes or product development - to help deliver world-class electronic components to the global market.

We are currently seeking atechnicianwho is skilled and motivated to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting and improving thecleaning processwithin the production line, which is essential for maintaining product quality and meeting the demands of future technologies.

About the role - you will:

• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  Perform data queries and analysis to provide accurate and timely information that supports engineering decisions and process improvements.
• Machine Monitoring & Response:
  Monitor key process indicators (KPIVs/KPOVs) of cleaning machines and promptly respond when performance deviates from target conditions.
• Engineering Support:
  Assist engineers in investigations, experiments, and trials related to process optimization and defect reduction.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with engineers and other departments such as manufacturing, maintenance, and tooling to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving.
• Teamwork & Communication:
  Actively participate in team discussions, share insights, and support team members to foster a collaborative and productive working environment. Be open to feedback and contribute to continuous team improvement.
• Additional Assignments:
  Take on other tasks and responsibilities that contribute positively to the team's goals, departmental objectives, and the overall business roadmap.

About you:

• Experience working in a gray room (machine front/back) or cleanroom environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously and quickly reprioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in data querying and analysis to support decision-making and process improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A collaborative mindset - able to work well in a team, be well-organized, open-minded, and maintain a positive attitude toward learning and improvement.
• Willingness to take initiative and contribute to team success beyond assigned tasks.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

Your experience includes:

• A diploma or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in slider fabrication processes, or a solid understanding of HDD manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of cleaning machines, slider process, and their safe handling in a production environment.
• Experience in data analysis tools, especially Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with JAMP, SQL, or KNIME is highly preferred.
• Understanding of production workflows, quality control procedures, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, process specifications, and machine manuals.
• Experience working in a gray room (machine front/back) or cleanroom environment is a plus.
