Your Job

Promotes and sells Molex range of products and grow Molex's Profit and Revenue in existing customer and new business.

Our Team

You will be reporting to Sales Manager/District Sales Manager

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue goals and profit through Molex distributor and Direct Account.
  • Specific tasks include
  • Sale Force- demand creation/ design in for new program/new customer
  • Spearheads new business development by handling all enquiries, participating in designs-in and 2nd sourcing at customers,
  • Be the champion to coordinate sample and documents for the customer's NPI build to ensure Molex is the primary source.
  • Create/Maintains and tracks all project status in the Sales Force system
  • Ensure new project pipeline in the Sale Force system is adequate for future growth.
  • Pricing:
  • Negotiate with customers on price and allocation
  • Raises front end Pros Deal for Special Price Request. Work with the Pricing group and Product Manage to ensure Molex stays relevant with regards to pricing against competition.
  • Fulfillment:
  • Works with customers on requirement and provides necessary forecasts to the factory via the ZAPO system.
  • Negotiate with customers on VMI contracts if any. And ensures VMI hub inventory is properly managed via timely audit so as not to create slow and excess.
  • Quality
  • Evaluates and validates quality complaints.
  • Pass to GCQ/CQE if issue is genuinely Molex fault.
  • Others
  • Negotiates general T&C with customers on payment terms, shipping terms etc.
  • Review contract agreement if any before submitting to Legal Team to further review.
  • Provides regular market data and competitive trends to keep management abreast of market situation.
  • Work with customers and Molex Finance team on any critical AR issues.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of field sales experience
  • Experienced in the electronic industry is preferred.
  • Fluency in English.
