Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the operation and continual improvement of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and for supporting occupational safety and health activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and EHS objectives.
- Assist the Environmental Management Representative (EMR) in implementing, maintaining, and communicating environmental policies, rules, and action plans in accordance with company requirements.
- Implement, maintain, and continually improve the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure compliance with applicable standards and legal requirements.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with ISO 14001 requirements, including coordination with relevant departments and functions.
- Identify, assess, and review environmental aspects and impacts, and establish Environmental Management Programs in coordination with the ISO 14001 Committee.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal EMS audits, and support external audits and certification activities.
- Coordinate and perform regular environmental inspections, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Control, update, and maintain EMS documentation and records, ensuring effective document control and traceability.
- Record, investigate, and monitor environmental incidents, accidents, and nonconformities, and report findings for analysis and continual improvement.
- Promote environmental awareness and provide training on ISO 14001 and environmental requirements to employees at all levels.
- Report on EMS performance, compliance status, and improvement opportunities to Management, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Support implementation of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System, in coordination with EHS supervisor.
- Assist in Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA) for routine and non-routine activities.
- Support environmental measurement, workplace safety inspections, safety walks, and follow-up corrective action.
- Assist in incident, accident, and near-miss investigations related to safety and occupational health.
- Support safety training programs, toolbox talks, and EHS inductions (employees & contractors).
- Coordinate PPE management, including identification, usage monitoring, and awareness.
- Promote EHS culture, safe behavior, and employee participation in safety activities.
- Support EHS data collection, KPI tracking, and reporting
- Perform other EHS-related tasks assigned by EHS Supervisor.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Environmental Health, General Science or any other related field.
Experience and Background
- At least 3-5 years experience in ISO9001, ISO50001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
- Proactive, good troubleshooting, carefulness, Innovative, resourceful and results-driven
- Excellent in oral and written communication skills
- Computer and internet proficient
- Experience in ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
- Familiar with Thai EHS legal requirements.
- Experience in occupational safety and health or EHS-related functions will be advantage.
