Job Profile Summary

Responsible to roles will typically be in shared service may support multiple businesses. Subject matter experts will generally fall into this category. Continuous communication with Baker Hughes leadership team, local authority and customer / client.

Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

• Individuals with expertise in a specific area, such as industrial hygiene, injury & illness, ergonomics, electrical safety, process safety management, etc. and/or providing general health & safety advice and support for multiple sites or a region. Note: Individuals located a specific site who support only that site should be classified as Operational, Fixed Facilities, even if they have a specific area of expertise unless they also support multiple sites or service operations. May include individuals supporting services, projects and construction.
• Advises Functional managers regarding local regulation, projects, processes and procedures.
• Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
• Contributes to project as a team member or leads small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event
  
• Able to go to Offshore field operation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety).
• Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Health and Safety.
