As an Equipment Sales Manager, you will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and executing strategic sales plans. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused professional who can navigate dynamic markets and deliver exceptional results.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Market Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities, applications, and market segments by understanding our products, capabilities, and customer needs.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at multiple organizational levels, as well as collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with MKS Sales Territory Managers and Inside Sales Engineers (ISE) to maximize overall business growth.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement territory and account-specific strategies, providing accurate order forecasts to Sales Management.
- Business Development Activities: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer visits (travel up to 30%).
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage opportunities and orders in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather and share best practices, customer requirements, and feedback to enhance business processes and customer satisfaction.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in industrial equipment or related fields
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required to effectively communicate with regional customers and partners
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to develop strategic plans and deliver on targets
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales forecasting
