Job Description

JOB SCOPE:

  • Own equipment performance, process stability, and manufacturability in a high-volumeproduction environment.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting for process excursions, equipment drift, instability,contamination, and yield detractors.
  • Support process tuning, parameter optimization, and equipment qualification activities.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement robust corrective actions to improve equipmentavailability, process capability, product quality, and yield.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful technology transfer, equipmentreadiness, and process ramp-up.
  • Monitor and improve key equipment and process metrics using SPC, DOE, FMEA, FDC, andstatistical data analysis.
  • Work with equipment and maintenance teams to strengthen preventive maintenance,calibration, and performance standards.
  • Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, best-knownmethods, qualification reports, and process guidelines.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians and contribute to knowledge-sharing across theorganization.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to semiconductormanufacturing equipment and processes.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and process support.
  • Demonstrated experience in equipment setup, operation, process tuning, optimization,qualification, troubleshooting, and process correction.
  • Proven expertise in equipment troubleshooting, process stabilization, and defect reduction.
  • Solid understanding of process integration, yield improvement, and defect analysis insemiconductor manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with metrology and analytical methods relevant to process monitoring and control.
  • Strong capability in DOE, SPC, FMEA, FDC, data analysis, and root cause investigation.
  • Experience supporting technology transfer from development to manufacturing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findingsclearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with fab safety, quality systems, documentation standards, and compliancerequirements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a semiconductor high-volume manufacturing or technology transferenvironment.
  • Strong background in equipment ownership and process support.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to cross-functional problem-solving teams.
  • Proven track record of improving uptime, repeatability, contamination control, and processcapability.
  • Experience contributing to technical innovation, patents, and impactful manufacturingimprovements.
  • Exposure to ISO systems, operational excellence frameworks, and equipment maintenancepractices.

EDUCATION &EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Materials Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
  • Typically, 10 to 15 years of experience in equipment engineering, process support, ormanufacturing engineering, preferably within semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-functional manufacturingenvironment.
  • Strong record of technical ownership, collaboration, and execution excellence.
