Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Equity Research Analyst to join our team. This role involves delivering in-depth equity analysis, financial modeling, and market insights across the Thai stock market and global markets. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a passion for capital markets, and the ability to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance research quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough equity research on companies listed in the Thai stock market as well as select global equities, including analyzing earnings results, regulatory filings, and sector developments.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, perform company and industry valuations, and deliver sector reports.
- Apply AI tools to streamline workflows, detect market patterns, and support data-driven insights.
- Prepare and present research reports, investment notes, and thought pieces for internal and external stakeholders.
- Interact with company management, institutional clients, and internal teams to communicate views on both domestic and international stocks and sectors.
- Collaborate with sales and trading teams to ensure comprehensive client support, including timely market updates and intelligence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Consulting, or other analytical roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- Experience with AI applications (e.g., data visualization, predictive modeling, workflow automation).
- Genuine passion and curiosity about the Thai stock market and global capital markets.
- CFA designation, or progress toward the CFA program, will be considered an advantage.
