ROLE PURPOSE: Responsible for conducting in-depth sector and security analysis to identify undervalued investment opportunities and generate actionable recommendations for the equity team. The role includes providing regular stock outlooks, initiating new investment ideas, performing company visits and financial reviews to support portfolio decisions, leading ESG-related initiatives, and collaborating with regional teams for research and idea sharing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Analyze business sector outlook and each security fundamental to identify attractive and undervalued investment opportunities to recommend to the team.
- Giving stock outlooks and recommendation such as (OW/N/UW) on monthly and quarterly basis in order to capture positive alpha comparing to sector return.
- Attending company visits and follow up financial statement consistently in order to check fundamentally for the portfolio model and having conviction in stock selections.
- Initiate investment idea and new stock to investment universe.
- Support team on ESG issues and engagement activities.
- Engage with the regional team for research/idea sharing.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Others assigned by team head and senior leaders. QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor / master's degree in finance / Banking / Business Administration / Economics and related fields
- Good command of English TECHNICAL/ FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
