Job Description

Conduct ESG due diligence for corporate, SME, and project finance clients, focusing on high-risk sectors.
Identify material ESG risks and provide risk opinions to support credit approval.
Integrate ESG factors into underwriting standards, credit reviews, and sector guidelines.
Analyze portfolio-level ESG exposures, heatmaps, and early warning indicators.
Assess qualitative and semi-quantitative climate risks (transition & physical) aligned with NGFS/IPCC scenarios.
Support regulatory and policy alignment (BOT climate risk, ISSB S2, TCFD risk-focused).
Advise relationship managers and credit teams on ESG risks and mitigation strategies.
Review ESG assessments, mentor junior analysts, and strengthen ESG risk capabilities across the credit function.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.

810 years of experience in credit risk, ESG or sustainability risk, or related financial risk areas.

Experience in corporate banking, project finance, or sectoral due diligence preferred.

Exposure to climate or transition risk frameworks is a plus.

Strong knowledge of ESG risk drivers and relevant standards (BOT climate risk, ISSB S2, TCFD, IFC).

Ability to interpret ESG data, regulatory disclosures, and credit processes.

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Collaborative, adaptable, and able to influence effectively in English etc.)
