Marketing Officer (Event Coordinator)
Responsibilities
- Create event plans and timelines for preparation and execution.
- Coordinate with teams such as marketing, design, production, and technical teams.
- Ensure the event runs smoothly according to schedule and handle any issues that arise.
- Prepare post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Journalism, Education, English, Public Relations, or Management, (Can be another related field but need to be interested in Marketing and Branding Management)
- Experience in planning events from start to finish, including setting goals, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Ability to liaise with suppliers, service providers, venue managers, and team members.
- Experience in marketing, including social media promotion, advertising material design, and event PR.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly during events.
- Ability to speak confidently and naturally in front of large audiences.
- Ability to adapt activities to suit different audiences.
- Ability to persuade clients or sponsors to participate in events.
- Quick-thinking and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected issues during events.
- Skill in handling multiple tasks simultaneously without delays.
