Job Specifications:
Reporting to the Senior Marketing & Events Manager, the Event Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing Tatler Thailand's signature events, social events, and client events. The role also supports community development initiatives by engaging VIPs and key stakeholders, ensuring seamless event operations, luxury brand alignment, and first-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Management & Execution
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Tatler Thailand's events, including branded events, partner collaborations, dinners, talks, workshops, and experiential activations.
- Manage end-to-end event operations, including timelines, vendor coordination, guest flow, run-of-show, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up.
- Act as the main on-ground PIC during events, coordinating with venues, chefs, partners, vendors, talents, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Support budget tracking, quotations, and cost control for event-related expenses.
Event-Led Branded Content
- Work closely with editorial, social, and production teams to translate event concepts into compelling content formats (social, video, post-event recaps, branded storytelling).
- Ensure all event outputs align with Tatler's brand positioning, tone of voice, and luxury standards.
- Assist in preparing event decks, proposals, and presentation materials for clients and partners.
Client & Partner Coordination
- Liaise with brand partners, sponsors, venues, and collaborators to align expectations, deliverables, and timelines.
- Attend client meetings alongside the senior team to support event-related presentations and discussions.
- Ensure client deliverables related to events are executed accurately and on time.
Internal Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Editorial, Marketing, and Creative teams to support integrated event-led campaigns.
- Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury event planning, brand activations, or premium client services.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of engaging with senior-level and high-net-worth stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
- Strong budget management and analytical skills.
- Self-starter with initiative, attention to detail, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Team player with ability to work cross-functionally and independently.
