Profile Overview:
The Regional Event & Partnerships Manager APAC will be responsible for leading a high-impact, event-focused B2B marketing strategy across Asia-Pacific, with primary focus on Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines (TIP). Based in Thailand, the role will manage end-to-end event planning, execution, and post-event processes while ensuring strong market localization and Thai language accuracy. The position will also support additional markets including India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Execution:
- Manage the complete lifecycle of regional events, including Expos/Trade Shows, Webinars, Offline Workshops, and Coffee Catch-ups.
- Own the lead-generation funnel for key events to ensure consistent and high-quality lead flow.
- Oversee event logistics, vendor management, budgeting, production of materials, and reporting on event ROI across multiple APAC locations.
- Travel frequently across TIP markets to support event execution and brand expansion.
Communications & Localization:
- Serve as the regional expert for Thai language and cultural nuances.
- Review, adapt, and localize marketing communications, presentations, and campaigns for the Thai market.
- Drive communication strategies across email, social channels, and partner messaging to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
- Build and manage partnerships with industry associations, integration partners, and local vendors to enhance event impact and participation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as the APAC event advisor to HQ, providing strategic insights on market behavior, event opportunities, and cultural context.
- Work closely with Sales teams on pre-event campaigns, on-site audience engagement, and post-event lead handover and follow-up.
- Ensure leads generated are qualified, logged, and tracked effectively within the CRM system for accurate reporting and performance measurement.
Key Skills Needed
- Strong event planning and execution expertise with experience delivering multi-country event programs.
- Demonstrated ability in building and managing marketing-led lead funnels.
- Excellent communication and localization capability, especially in written and spoken Thai.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, budget ownership, and reporting skills.
- Deep understanding of Southeast Asian business culture and customer engagement styles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholder groups, including Sales, Marketing, and HQ
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in B2B event marketing/execution, preferably in SaaS, hospitality tech, or related industries within APAC.
- Mandatory fluency in Thai (both spoken and written).
- Proven track record of managing lead-generation events such as webinars, workshops, and meetups.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and post-event ROI reporting.
- Strong understanding of regional cultural practices and business environments.
- Willingness to travel frequently across APAC markets.
