The Role: Event Operation Lead/Manager
As our company grows and scales rapidly, we are looking for a dynamic leader to help design, optimize, and drive operational systems across the organization.
This role is the beating heart of our internal operations. You will connect all the moving pieces of our backend teams, aligning them in the same direction to ensure smooth, efficient business delivery and support the company's long-term scalability.
This is not just a role for managing processes or paperwork; you will be the ultimate guardian of the company's Business Integrity and Business Experience. In this position, you will drive critical impact across 3 key dimensions:
- The Bridge: Act as the vital link between executive management and operation teams. You will help filter critical organizational challenges and present clear, actionable alternatives to enable fast and effective decision-making.
- The Auditor: Govern operational workflows to ensure complete accuracy, transparency, and compliance, effectively mitigating risks that could impact the company's credibility and reputation.
- The Scaler: Spearhead the design of systems, workflows, and operational playbooks to enable efficient scalability for both the team and the company, ensuring seamless onboarding for new hires.
What You'll Drive:
- Strategic Operations Leadership: Define the strategy, set operational directions, and oversee the overall Learner Experience team to achieve overarching company goals.
- Process Excellence & Automation: Champion continuous improvement by designing new workflows, eliminating manual tasks, and leveraging technology/AI to make operations faster, easier, more accurate, and highly efficient.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as the central connector between backend operations and frontliner teams (Sales, Product, Content) to unblock bottlenecks and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Financial & Compliance Oversight: Govern billing, disbursement, and accounting workflows with a 100% accuracy (Zero Error) mindset, while managing risks related to contracts, taxation, and other corporate documentation.
- People Development, Mentorship & Team Building: Build and manage sub-teams, acting as a coach to upskill team members, foster a positive work culture, and unlock their full potential under a fast-paced Startup Spirit.
What You'll Bring:
- The Systematic Visionary: Possesses structured thinking with the ability to see the big picture and translate high-level strategies into clear, actionable, operational steps that drive business objectives.
- High Professional Integrity: Exceptionally detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance (especially concerning finance, legal, and regulatory matters).
- Leadership & People Sense: At least 3-5 years of team management experience, with a proven track record of mentoring diverse teams (ranging from customer service to data/finance roles).
- Data-Driven Problem Solver: Uses data to guide decisions, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is not afraid to re-engineer legacy systems to build a better version.
- Tech-Savvy: Tech-literate with a passion for leveraging digital tools (such as ERP, CRM, Notion, AI, and automation tools) to optimize productivity.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Excellent capability in driving cross-functional projects and collaborating with multi-tier stakeholders to ensure seamless inter-departmental workflows.
- Experience: Prior experience in EdTech, Tech Consulting, or Operations Management within a startup environment is highly preferred.
