Job Description

Summary

  • Manage, coordinate, and execute events sold by the Event Sales team, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients after contract signing, gathering all event requirements and ensuring clear communication with internal teams.
  • Prepare and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to all operational departments.
  • Work closely with Sales, Banquet, Culinary, AV, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Conduct site inspections, preevent meetings, and client briefings to align expectations and confirm operational requirements.
  • Oversee event logistics including setup, timelines, floor plans, menus, and special requests.
  • Provide on-site support during events, troubleshoot issues promptly, and maintain service standards throughout.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event organizers, wedding planners, and corporate partners to encourage repeat business.
  • Ensure accurate billing, review event charges, and follow up on payments as needed.
  • Assist in developing event concepts, packages, and enhancements to elevate the hotel's event offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, MICE & Event Management, or a related field.
  • Event sales or event planning experience in hotels, preferably 5-star luxury hotel (2 - 3 years for Executive, 4 - 6 years for Manager).
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations professionally.
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken) additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office knowledge of Opera or Envision is an advantage.
