Role Description The Event Sales Manager : Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangkok City, Thailand. This role is responsible for generating and managing event-related sales, including corporate functions, meetings, and private events, to achieve revenue targets. The Event Sales Manager will handle inquiries, prepare proposals and contracts, conduct site inspections, and maintain close communication with clients throughout the event lifecycle. Daily tasks include coordinating with the hotel's operations and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution, maintaining an updated sales pipeline, and participating in sales meetings and promotional activities. The role also involves building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that all events reflect the hotel's service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in MICE sales or event operations.
• Proficiency in English and Thai, reading, speaking and writing (fluency in both languages is required).
• A strong Event Planning and Event Management skills to oversee the design, coordination, and execution of events.
• Effective Sales, negotiate agreements, and maximize event revenue.
• Excellent Communication skills to interact with clients, internal teams, and external partners clearly and professionally.
• Customer service orientation, organizational abilities, and attention to detail to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Previous experience in hospitality, event sales, or related fields, preferably in hotels or venues, is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency or a background in catering sales software, Shiji, Opera or Delphi is an advantage.
