About the Role

Destination Group is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Event Sales Manager to lead the acquisition and management of corporate events, MICE, weddings, social events, and group bookings across our hospitality portfolio. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating memorable experiences while driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives and strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve event and banquet revenue targets.
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities in the Corporate, MICE, Wedding, Social Events, and Travel sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, corporate clients, travel agencies, DMCs, PCOs, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections, client presentations, and venue tours.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and negotiate pricing to maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Banquet, Kitchen, Revenue, and Marketing teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions, trade shows, and industry functions to generate new business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM records.
  • Ensure exceptional client service from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Event Sales, MICE Sales, Banquet Sales, or Hotel Sales within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and generating event revenue.
  • Strong knowledge of the Thailand hospitality and events market.
  • Existing network within the Corporate, MICE, Wedding, or Events industry is highly preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (Opera, Delphi, Salesforce, or similar platforms is an advantage).
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Candidate
  • Open to all nationalities.
  • Candidates with established experience in the Thai, Indian, Chinese, and Russian MICE markets will have a significant advantage.
  • Experience selling multiple venues or hotel properties is highly desirable.
