An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Execution Engineer to join our growing team in Bangkok, Thailand, with on-site responsibilities in Chonburi. This role is ideal for an independent, technically grounded engineer with a strong sense of ownership who thrives in managing engineering execution at site level, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering solutions in line with project scope and technical standards.
What you will be doing:
Technical Execution and Site Coordination
- Take responsibility for the technical execution of diesel generator enclosure systems delivered for Thailand-based projects.
- Be stationed at the factory and/or customer site in Chonburi to support system integration into generator enclosures, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Conduct on-site supervision to ensure installation of enclosure systems adheres to engineering standards, customer specifications, and safety regulations.
Project Integration and Documentation
- Collaborate with Project Managers to take over post-sales execution responsibilities.
- Provide and manage project-specific technical drawings, manuals, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal regional teams, local suppliers, and external contractors to ensure flawless integration and delivery.
Supplier and Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with local and regional engineering teams to align on technical solutions and documentation.
- Raise purchase requisitions and oversee the quality and timeliness of locally sourced scope.
- Liaise with internal departments and global stakeholders (including engineering, procurement, quality assurance) to maintain technical and commercial compliance.
Problem Solving and Quality Improvement
- Support troubleshooting, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in lessons learned reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering execution processes.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests and represent the technical execution function in customer interactions.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering execution, preferably in diesel generator, power systems, or heavy industries.
- Demonstrated experience in project-based technical execution, site supervision, and system integration.
- Familiarity with diesel genset mechanical systems and enclosure design is essential.
- Exposure to electrical systems and switchgear is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and deliver under pressure.
- Fluent in Thai and proficient in English (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel and work on-site in Chonburi as required.
