Executive Director, Quantitative Hedge Fund (Singapore)

A growing quantitative hedge fund is seeking an Executive Director to join its Singapore leadership team. This is a unique opportunity combining investment industry expertise with regulatory leadership. You will play a key role in supporting the firm's governance, regulatory engagement, and operational framework while working closely with the investment team in a highly technology-driven environment.

The successful candidate will also serve as a licensed representative under the firm's MAS Licensed Fund Management Company (LFMC) licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a licensed Representative under the MAS AI LFMC licence.
• Act as a key liaison with MAS, supporting regulatory submissions and ongoing compliance.
• Oversee corporate governance, internal controls, and regulatory documentation.
• Support the implementation of compliance and enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Provide guidance on operational, legal, technology, and business matters.
• Partner with investment and management teams to support the firm's continued growth.
• Promote strong governance and regulatory best practices across the organisation.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within a Quantitative Hedge Fund or Quantitative Asset Management environment.
• Experience in quantitative investment research, investment modelling, or systematic investment strategies.
• At least 2 years of leadership or managerial experience.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, alternative investments, and quantitative strategies.
• Good knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA). Must satisfy the MAS Fit and Proper criteria for licensed representatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
