Overview

The Executive / Senior Executive, Strategic Communications supports the development and delivery of WWF-Singapore's integrated communications initiatives across digital, media and stakeholder engagement channels.

The role combines communications, media relations, content creation and visual storytelling to help translate complex sustainability topics into clear, engaging and impactful science-based content. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with good design instincts, an eye for detail, an understanding of user experience principles, and a positive, proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communications & Media Relations

• Develop and adapt content across digital, social media, website, publications and stakeholder communications channels.
• Support communications campaigns, thought leadership initiatives and media engagement through the development of key messages, media materials and content assets.
• Translate sustainability and conservation topics into clear, engaging and audience-centric communications while ensuring consistency with WWF's brand and messaging.
• Develop a strong understanding of WWF-Singapore's key competencies and advocacy positions on sustainability, climate change, conservation and related topics locally and internationally

2. Design & Digital Communications

• Drive end-to-end content delivery across websites, digital platforms and exhibitions, coordinating with developers and vendors to ensure timely and effective implementation.
• Curate and manage content across digital platforms, websites and exhibitions, and coordinate with developers, designers and external vendors to ensure accurate, engaging and timely implementation of content assets and visitor-facing experiences.
• Apply design and UI/UX principles to strengthen visual storytelling, audience engagement and digital user experiences, including website content.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in communications, design and digital engagement.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Project Coordination

• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies and external partners to deliver integrated communications initiatives and organisational priorities.
• Support events, media opportunities and stakeholder engagements, while coordinating vendors and communications-related projects.
• Monitor communications performance, track engagement metrics and support reporting on outcomes and impact.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Multimedia, Design or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, media relations, content development or digital marketing.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, with experience creating professional visual communications materials.
• Familiarity with website content management, digital publishing platforms, social media channels and data analysis tools.
• Experience in sustainability, environmental or purpose-driven sectors is an advantage.
