ACCOUNTIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities and Capabilities
- Assist Country Manager in developing a comprehensive recruitment and marketing plan, which includes participation in recruitment activities such as education fairs, exhibitions, online/physical seminars, alumni events to meet the set student admissions target.
- Grow brand awareness of SIM and its University Partners and various programmes in-country.
- Broaden the student recruitment pipeline by extending school outreach efforts to diverse regions across Thailand and Laos.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing or new recruitment agents as well as internal stakeholders within SIM across different departments to support the smooth admission process of Korean prospects.
- Provide professional educational advice and counselling services to recruitment agents, parents, and students.
- Cultivating new partnerships with external stakeholders through the signing of MOUs with schools/universities and presenting mutually beneficial education models that cater to the needs of both local schools/universities and SIM.
- Engage in regional activities and events aimed at increasing Thai and Laos student admissions at SIM, including attending out-of-country school visits and education fairs organized by recruitment agents, as well as participating in SIM's annual Partners Workshop and Educators Conference held in Singapore.
- Stay on top of current market movements and trends that could influence the education sector and behaviour of student prospects in Thailand and Laos.
- Identify, develop and manage institutional partnerships with industry stakeholders and chambers to drive recruitment outcomes.
- Offer consistent market research, feedback, and analysis to key stakeholders, leveraging these insights to remain agile and resilient against potential threats.
- Support SIM's regional marketing team to tailor content for local Thai and Laos audiences and provide guidance to in-country media agency on upcoming events, strategies, and market approaches.
Corporate Engagement
- Agencies and private sectors (for creating internship, career and sponsorship opportunities).
- Developing, nurturing, and managing strategic partnerships, relationships and initiatives with key stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
Performance Measures
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual application targets for new student recruitment from Thailand and Laos for SIM, within agreed budgets for marketing activities, agent remuneration and scholarship and bursaries.
- Driving conversion efforts for students applying to SIM from Thailand and Laos via various recruitment channels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, business, international relations, or field of study with a global orientation.
- Able to liaise well with English and Thai-speaking stakeholders/students/parents.
- Aptitude for using technology and e-media.
- Results-oriented with flexibility and ability to deliver tasks/projects within timelines.
- Ability to conduct presentations and deliver public speaking with ease.
- Experience in sales and business management with evidence of achieving sales targets is preferred.
