Responsibilities:
Corporate Sustainability Strategy
- Develop and implement the corporate sustainability strategy and ESG roadmap aligned with long-term corporate strategy.
- Ensure sustainability initiatives support both business competitiveness and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive corporate commitments toward Net Zero emissions and climate adaptation.
Corporate Governance
- Establish and maintain corporate sustainability governance frameworks and policies.
- Develop policies related to: Environmental stewardship, Ethical business practices, Human rights and labor standards.
Sustainable Supply Chain Management
- Strengthen sustainable practices within business supply chain and ecosystem i.e., famer, sugarcane, manufacturing, energy and corporate functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholder to enhance them and their supplier meet standard and continue to monitoring.
Risk Management
- Integrate sustainability risks into the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Lead climate risk assessments and resilience strategies.
- Develop mitigation plans to serve sustainability risk.
ESG Reporting & Standards
- Prepare corporate sustainability disclosures & align global framework including sustainability report, ESG report, Climate disclosure reports, GRI Standards, TCFD, TNFD, CDP, SBTi.
- Strengthen ESG data governance and transparency.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
- Lead engagement & collaboration with key stakeholders including Customer, Finance Solution, Government agencies, Industry associations, Global sustainability organizations, NGOs and Academic institutions.
- Develop strategic partnerships to accelerate sustainability innovation.
Sustainability Culture
- Promote a sustainability culture across the organization.
- Build management & employee's capabilities on sustainability.
- Support cross-functional collaboration among business units including sugarcane, manufacturing, energy, R&D, and corporate functions.
Others
- Attend meetings such as Board of Director, Executive Committee (ExCom), Sustainability Committee, Risk Management Committee.
Required Experience:
- Master's Degree or Higher in : Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in management level.
- Experience in large corporates, with background in manufacturing, agriculture, or energy businesses.
- Ability to formulate sustainability strategy & framework.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of ESG Strategy & Governance, Global Sustainability Standards, Climate Strategy & Net Zero Roadmap, Environmental Management & Circular Economy, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge, Responsible Business & Ethics.
- Strong stakeholder engagement & partnership building skills.
- Good command of English
Note About Hiring Condition:
The initial employment will be offered under a two-year fixed-term contract. Upon completion of the initial term, the contract may be subject to renewal or conversion to a permanent position, subject to performance and business requirements.
