Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Expat English Teacher role based in Ban Hong, Ha Noi. The teacher will plan and deliver interactive English lessons, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for various age groups and levels. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans and materials, conducting classes, assigning and checking homework, and assessing student progress through tests and ongoing evaluations. The teacher will provide regular feedback to students and maintain clear communication with the academic team regarding curriculum, classroom management, and student support. Additional responsibilities may include participating in teacher meetings, contributing to school events or workshops, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Strong English teaching abilities, including lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment of student progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage learners of different ages and backgrounds.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field) and an internationally recognized TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience teaching English as a second or foreign language, ideally in a classroom setting.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to living and working in Ban Hong, Ha Noi, with a collaborative and professional attitude.
- Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to support teaching and learning.
- Clean background suitable for working with students and eligibility to obtain relevant work permits or visas.
