Extending beyond traditional formats, Chapter explores a more considered approach to urban environments, shaping spaces that respond to the pace and rhythm of the city.
We are currently forming our founding team in Bangkok to bring the first Chapter location to life.
Role Overview
The Experience & Operations Manager will take ownership of both customer experience and operational delivery.
This role is responsible for translating the concept into a consistent, well-executed reality, ensuring the space operates with clarity, intention, and attention to detail.
From pre-opening through to daily operations, you will play a central role in defining how Chapter is experienced.
Key Responsibilities
Experience & Service Design
- Define and shape the end-to-end customer journey
- Establish clear service principles across all touchpoints
- Translate direction into practical, executable experience guidelines
Operations Setup & Management
- Develop and implement SOPs and operational processes
- Ensure smooth, consistent day-to-day operations
- Balance operational efficiency with quality of experience
Team Hiring & Development
- Recruit, train, and lead the frontline team
- Set clear expectations for service and performance
- Build a culture grounded in consistency, awareness, and care
Pre-opening & Launch
- Support the setup and readiness of the first Bangkok location
- Oversee operational preparation and be hands-on during launch
Experience Coordination (Preferred)
- Support in-space activities and small-scale activations
- Coordinate with partners, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensure alignment with the overall experience
Cross-functional Alignment
- Work closely with internal teams to align concept, space, and execution
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an individual who brings both operational discipline and a strong sensitivity to experience.
- 5+ years in hospitality, hotel, premium F&B, or lounge operations
- Experience in opening or managing a new venue is preferred
- Strong understanding of service standards and execution
- Proven ability to lead teams with clarity and composure
- Acts as a consistent representative of the Chapter brand
Additionally, you will:
- Have strong attention to detail and awareness of how small elements shape the experience
- Balance structure with intuition, maintaining both efficiency and flow
- Approach service with thoughtfulness and intention
- Be comfortable in an early-stage environment, taking ownership as the concept evolves
- Have good awareness of Bangkok's culture, lifestyle, and business environment
- Demonstrate adaptability and work well under pressure
- Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience in event coordination, project management, or activation planning is a plus.
