Job Description

Our client is a leading chocolate and confectionery manufacturer in Thailand. They are now looking for an experienced and driven Export Sales Manager to accelerate international growth and expand the brand into key markets worldwide. In this role, you will take the lead in building strategic B2B partnerships, targeting new export opportunities, and managing end-to-end export operations. You will work closely with the production, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure export orders are delivered on time, at the right cost, and with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and acquire new international customers across distributors, wholesalers, QSRs, hotels, and retailers.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with the company's export strategy.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, pricing trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and key accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, track performance, and support joint-business planning with partners.
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, QA, and logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, COO, health certificates, HS codes, and compliance documents.
  • Monitor export regulations and ensure compliance with destination country requirements.
  • Maintain sales forecasts, monitor performance, gross margin, and customer profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing on product launches, promotional materials, and participation in international trade shows.
  • Support customers with product training, technical information, and channel development strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, QA, and internal teams to manage credit terms, packaging, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of international sales experience, preferably in food & beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in growing export markets and managing distributor relationships.
  • Experience with export documentation, customs compliance, logistics, and Incoterms.
  • Strong understanding of international pricing, margins, and sales forecasting.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills; highly organized and culturally adaptable.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Professional proficiency in English & Thai.
