Role Description The Food and Beverage Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangkok, responsible for driving food and beverage revenue through proactive sales and account management. This role includes developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships with corporate, group, and event clients, and coordinating with the operations and banquet teams to ensure successful events and guest experiences. The manager will prepare proposals, contracts, and sales reports, analyze market trends and competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities for restaurants, bars, catering, and special events. Day-to-day activities also involve conducting site inspections, attending client meetings, collaborating with marketing on promotions, and ensuring all sales activities align with Marriott brand standards and service culture.
Qualifications
- Strong background in food and beverage sales, account management, and business development in hospitality or related industries.
- Experience in client relationship management, including negotiation, contract preparation, and handling group, event, or corporate accounts.
- Skills in sales planning, forecasting, and revenue analysis, with the ability to identify market trends and develop targeted sales strategies.
- Proficiency in communication and presentation, with the ability to collaborate effectively with operations, marketing, and event teams.
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations, banquet and catering services, and service standards within an international hospitality brand.
- Ability to work on-site in Bangkok, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) for daily sales activities.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, marketing, or related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Prior food and beverage sales or event sales experience in hotels or resorts is strongly preferred; multilingual abilities are an advantage.
