Job Description
Lead and manage the shift team to ensure successful operation, maintenance, and repair of all critical systems, maintaining 100% uptime for critical power systems.
Prioritize and assign planned and unplanned work orders (PPMs/TTs) to Data Center Specialists to achieve monthly compliance targets.
Coordinate and oversee all maintenance activities within the data centre, ensuring full awareness and prioritization of daily tasks in collaboration with the Critical Maintenance Manager.
Ensure subcontractors are properly inducted, compliant with safety procedures, and equipped with approved method statements, risk assessments, and MSDS before issuing permits to work.
Monitor FOC operations, ensure prompt response to EPMS/BMS/Fire alarms, and issue accurate daily shift handover reports
The Successful Applicant
Strong experience in operating and maintaining critical environment systems within a data centre setting.
Proven ability to lead and supervise shift teams in a 24/7/365 operational environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols, including reviewing subcontractor method statements, risk assessments, and MSDS.
Ability to manage maintenance workflows, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with planned maintenance schedules.
Strong communication and documentation skills, including shift reporting and coordination with clients and management
