Our client is an innovative, rapidly expanding technology company headquartered in Japan, specializing in cutting-edge Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) solutions and advanced IoT system integration. Having recently established their Thailand operations as a strategic ASEAN hub, they deploy next-generation wireless sensor systems across factories, commercial properties, and smart offices to revolutionize energy efficiency and facility operations.

They are now seeking a high-caliber Facility Engineer to serve as a founding member of their local technical team and spearhead their engineering footprint across the region.

Scope of Job

As the founding engineer in Thailand, you will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth and organizational expansion. You will take ownership of design and construction coordination for MEP systems (electrical, HVAC, and instrumentation) across commercial and industrial sites. In the future, this position offers a direct path to taking on group-level engineering responsibilities for the broader ASEAN market.

Key Responsibilities

• Drawing & Design Review: Coordinate and review civil and MEP construction drawings, ensuring absolute technical accuracy.

• Infrastructure Planning: Support the detailed design and planning stages for electrical, HVAC, and instrumentation layouts.

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all project specifications strictly align with local engineering codes and safety regulations.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key technical point of contact, collaborating smoothly with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients.

• Project Documentation: Prepare precise progress reports, quantity take-offs (BOQ), and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Site Management: Participate actively in site meetings, quality control inspections, scheduling, and project handover processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Facility Engineering, with a strong focus on MEP coordination in building construction.

• Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems; highly proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and modern project tracking tools.

• Language: Intermediate level English proficiency (capable of handling professional reading, writing, and speaking).

• Attributes: Strong problem-solving capabilities, high attention to detail, and a self-driven founding team mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with instrumentation, control systems, or factory IoT infrastructure is highly advantageous.

• A valid Thai Associate/Professional Engineering License is a distinct plus.
