Job Description
- Establish, manage, and oversee overall factory operations, as this is a newly created Factory Manager role.
- Set up and implement factory management systems, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Plan, control, and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery.
- Manage production planning, manpower allocation, and daily operational activities.
- Oversee equipment, machinery, and maintenance planning to ensure operational reliability.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with internal functions such as sales, R&D, purchasing, and logistics to support business objectives.
- Monitor production performance, KPIs, and operational costs, and report regularly to management.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
- Build, lead, and develop the factory team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with exposure to factory or production management.
- Strong understanding of factory operations, production planning, and process improvement.
- Experience in setting up systems, processes, or SOPs in a growing or new manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
