Fare Specialist (Flight Product Operations)

About the Role:

As a Fare Specialist at Gother, you are the backbone of our Easy Booking, Best Price promise. You won't just be entering data; you will be the architect of our complex pricing engine, connecting with global airline partners to ensure our customers enjoy the most accurate, seamless, and cost-effective booking experience possible.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

Partner Collaboration

Manage and ensure data accuracy and update fare data received from airlines and Partners, including promotions and route-specific fare sheets

Handle multiple fare updates on a weekly or monthly basis assigned

Attend seminars and communicate effectively with airline partners to gather and verify fare and promotion information.

Internal Communication

Coordinate with internal development team and ticketing team to upload and test promotional codes and fare updates. Translate and summarize fare sheets for different routes and special promotions.

Collaborate closely with the development and marketing teams to plan and implement fare updates and campaigns Competitive Fare Analysis

Analyze and compare price competitiveness with competitors

Continuously monitor and adjust flight pricing to keep our price competitive in the market

Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications):

• Proven Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in Air Ticketing or Fare Management (prior experience with an OTA is highly preferred).
• GDS Expert: Advanced proficiency in Amadeus or Travelport (proficiency in both is a major plus).
• Detail Oriented: A sharp eye for accuracy; you understand that a single digit or character error can have a significant business impact.
• Agile Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced tech startup environment, with a hunger for learning new systems and solving problems on the fly.
• Tech-Savvy: Solid understanding of online booking systems (APIs, web interfaces) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
