Job Description

Role Overview

Field Application Engineers provide technical support and solutions to Sales and Marketing teams. The role is also responsible for project coordination and supporting Project Managers (PM) to deliver proposed solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

A. Review technical requirements and prepare product comparisons against customer requirements; advise suitable solutions from both technical and cost perspectives.

B. Coordinate with technical teams or factories when additional technical support, product clarification, or service pricing is required.

C. Prepare technical solutions and conduct product presentations.

D. Prepare proposals and cost sheets for proposed solutions.

E. Prepare and update product specifications in Thai and English for designers or customers for inclusion in TOR documents.

F. Prepare product comparisons against competitors, highlighting advantages and disadvantages, and conduct training for the sales team.

G. Prepare ICS documentation and obtain approval from CGM and/or the EA team in accordance with the authorized approval level.

H. Coordinate with the Project Manager to manage and deliver projects according to the defined scope of work and project timeline.

I. Coordinate and supervise partners for installation of thirdparty products and services, including costing activities.

J. Perform system configuration, system startup, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) in coordination with the PM, service team, and/or thirdparty partners.

K. Coordinate with partners and the PM to prepare shop drawings, asbuilt drawings (if required), operation manuals in Thai, and training documents in coordination with the service team.

L. Conduct training sessions in coordination with the PM and service team.

M. Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, and Customer Service teams to support invoicing activities.

N. Support the service team in aftersales service activities, when required.

O. Investigate and resolve product or installation issues, when required.

P. Support marketing events as a speaker for public events, partner events, and inhouse training sessions.

Q. Support preparation of technical documentation for TISI applications.

R. Be committed and responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS), including:

a. Implementing a process approach and riskbased thinking

b. Providing necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS

c. Communicating the importance of conforming to QMS requirements across the organization

d. Ensuring the QMS meets its objectives

e. Engaging, directing, and supporting individuals contributing to the QMS

f. Creating a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical disciplines required

A. At least 1-3 years experience as FAE or related UPS product fields (Preferable)

B. Working experience in recruitment field is highly preferred

Skills:

A. Good command of English skills both oral and written communication.

B. Strong sense of self-motivation, adaptability, and initiative

C. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

D. Enthusiastic and can-do attitude

E. Able to work under pressure

F. Proactive and target oriented

G. Able to use MS-Office tools and basic application tools, web-usage and web-based tools experience (Preferable)

H. Proficient with computer hardware and software experience to be advantage.

I. Able to effective communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
