We are currently looking to hire anL1 Field Engineer based in Thailandto support our ongoing and upcoming service requirements.
The role will primarily focus ononsite hardware supportfor enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment. The engineer will work closely with our regional L2/L3 teams to ensure timely issue resolution and SLA compliance.
Scope of Work:
- Provide onsitebreak-fix support and parts replacementfor hardware components (e.g., HDD, RAM, PSU, NIC)
- Performinstallation, racking, stacking, and cablingof equipment
- Conductbasic troubleshooting and diagnosticsunder remote guidance
- SupportThird Party Maintenance (TPM)service activities
- Handlehardware upgrades and preventive maintenance(e.g., cleaning, health checks)
- Performsite surveys and asset verificationwhen required
- Maintain and submitservice reports (SR)and update support tickets
- Coordinate with logistics/vendors forparts delivery and replacement
- Ensure adherence to agreedSLAs (e.g., 24x7x4 / 8x5 NBD)
Key requirements:
- Based in Thailand and willing to travel for onsite support
- Able to communicate effectively inEnglish(mandatory)
- Basic hands-on experience with servers, storage, and networking hardware
- Familiar with rack & stack, parts replacement, and basic diagnostics
Candidates with 13 years of relevant field support experience are preferred, though fresh graduates with strong hands-on skills may also be considered.
