Job Description

The Field Force Operations Senior Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing field sales operations to ensure effective execution of sales strategies, operational efficiency, and performance excellence across all field teams. This role focuses on managing sales processes, performance tracking, operational planning, and enabling field teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Force Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the field sales team to ensure efficient execution of sales plans.
  • Develop and implement operational processes, tools, and guidelines to improve field force productivity.
  • Monitor field operations to ensure compliance with company policies and sales standards.

2. Sales Performance Management

  • Track and analyze field sales performance, KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights on sales effectiveness.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans to enhance field team performance.

3. Sales Planning & Execution Support

  • Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Channel teams to ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Support sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches by aligning field operations.
  • Coordinate field force deployment and territory management.

4. Process Improvement & Systems

  • Optimize sales processes and field operations workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Lead implementation or improvement of sales tools, CRM systems, and field reporting systems.
  • Ensure accurate data management and reporting.

5. Field Team Capability & Coordination

  • Work closely with regional sales leaders to support field team effectiveness.
  • Provide operational guidance and support to field managers.
  • Facilitate communication between field teams and head office.

6. Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage operational budgets related to field activities.
  • Monitor resource allocation and cost efficiency across field operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 810 years of experience in Sales Operations, Field Sales Management, or Commercial Operations.
  • Proven experience in managing field sales operations or large field teams across multiple regions.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance management, field force effectiveness, and sales analytics.
  • Experience working with CRM systems or sales force automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or similar platforms).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
