Field Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding (Laem Chabang)

We are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Manager to join our pioneer team in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).

Reporting directly to the Head of Field Sales, you will spearhead our commercial expansion in Laem Chabang, acting as the primary engine for growth in this strategic region.

This is a unique opportunity to help build our footprint from the ground up, focusing on acquiring new accounts and establishing DP World's presence in the industrial heart of Thailand.

Key Accountabilities

• Spearhead business development activities in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), executing a sales plan that aligns with the national strategy set by the Head of Field Sales.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Chon Buri and Rayong industrial estates, focusing on Import/Export freight, Customs Clearance, and Cross-Border logistics.
• Act as the boots on the ground representative for DP World, building a robust pipeline of potential clients and converting them into active trading accounts.
• Maintain regular presence at the Laem Chabang office and client sites, ensuring high visibility and deep engagement with the local logistics community.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Field Sales to report on market activities, competitor movements, and revenue forecasts.
• Work with the centralized Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure that the specific needs of EEC clients are understood and met seamlessly.
• Represent the company at local industry networking events and trade associations to promote brand awareness in the region.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• A Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in freight forwarding sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of international logistics, INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and trade regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Thai proficiency are required.
• An existing network of logistics clients (importers/exporters) in Laem Chabang or the Eastern Seaboard industrial zones is highly desirable.
• Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively for client meetings within Chon Buri and Rayong.
