About the Role
As a Field Sales Manager – Retail & Trader Acquisition, you will be responsible for driving new business by acquiring customers from retail, wholesale, trader, distributor, SME, and cash & carry segments. This is a field-intensive role focused on market mapping, cluster development, and building long-term customer relationships to grow our logistics business.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new customers across retail, wholesale, trader, distributor, and SME segments.
- Drive revenue through express parcel, surface transportation, and logistics solutions.
- Conduct market mapping and identify high-potential business clusters.
- Develop territory penetration plans and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Build and nurture relationships with retailers, traders, wholesalers, distributors, market associations, and key stakeholders.
- Achieve monthly acquisition and revenue targets through extensive field visits.
- Cross-sell logistics solutions and increase wallet share from existing customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term business growth.
Who We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of field sales experience.
- Background in Logistics, Express Distribution, Courier & Parcel, Supply Chain, Retail Distribution, FMCG Route-to-Market, or B2B Sales.
- Strong understanding of trader markets, wholesale ecosystems, and cluster-based selling.
- Good local market knowledge of Bangalore.
- Existing network among traders, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
