This Position reports to:

Field Service Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer in ABB's Electrification business, you will execute service work of low to medium complexity in accordance with ABB's global standards, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks. You'll be the face of ABB on-site, delivering exceptional service and technical expertise to our customers.

The work model for the role is onsite, LI#onsite

This role contributes to the Electrification Services Division in Thailand

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Collaborating with customers on-site to identify operational improvements and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Executing field service tasks and resolving technical issues across ABB's low- and medium-voltage product portfolio.
  • Preparing and managing service materials, ensuring availability and compliance with quality standards.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, recommending proactive solutions to enhance reliability and performance.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Are highly skilled in field diagnostics, testing tools, and service methodologies within the electrical distribution and automation sector.
  • Bring 3+ years of experience in field service engineering with MV/LV switchgear, circuit breakers, protection relays, or energy management systems, ABB is preferred.
  • Are proficient in-service management platforms such as ServiceMax or SAP, and comfortable with digital tools and reporting systems.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills.
  • Hold a degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Are fluent in Thai and English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
