Headquartered in Italy and with subsidiaries worldwide, the company delivers top-tier high-speed closing solutions across multiple sectors, including beverage (wine, soft drinks, water, juice, beer, spirits), food, personal care, chemical, industrial, and pharmaceutical packaging lines.

Role Summary

The Field Service Engineer will be a highly specialized technician in capping machines, responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed equipment.

The role also involves managing relationships with AROL customers in Thailand with regard to spare parts activities, including customer visits and requests, coordination with AROL headquarters for quotation preparation, and collection of feedback on submitted offers.

In addition to activities in Thailand, the position requires availability for international assignments within the region, particularly Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, to support customers and local subsidiaries.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Service Director based at the Italian headquarters, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installation, commissioning, and start-up of high-speed capping machines at customer sites.
  • Diagnosis and resolution of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical issues.
  • Execution of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
  • International service assignments in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines.
  • Courtesy visits to customers to assess installed machines, identify technical needs, and support after-sales service development.
  • Technical reporting and collaboration with headquarters and internal technical teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Technical diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical systems, preferably applied to capping or bottling machinery.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in field service roles or similar positions within: packaging machinery, bottling lines, industrial automation.
  • Proven ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • High flexibility and availability for frequent international travel, including Southeast Asia.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in multicultural environments.
  • Valid driving license.

Language Skills

  • Native Thai speaker or full professional proficiency in Thai.
  • Fluent English.
  • Additional languages are considered a plus.
