Job Description

Job Purpose:

Provides on-site instruction in the assembly, application and cycling of EFCO Corp.s forming systems. Identifies the best solutionto meet customer needs while ensuring safety and productivity standards are met. Must have knowledge and understanding ofconcrete forming products. Acts as conduit for EFCO, working with internal partners to provide customer support. Will act as a liaison, working with district and corporate personnel to meet customer needs. Is a business partner with other EFCO staff, acting as a technical advisor in sales presentations as well as directly on the job site. Develops best practices in regards to the safe construction and application of EFCO forming systems.

Function:

1. Job-Site Formwork Support 60%

  • Assist with the erection of forming equipment on job sites and address irregularities as required
  • Consistently review and ensure compliance with product safety guidelines
  • Support customers with proper cycling procedures of formwork
  • Complete and submit a fact sheet for every job site visited

2. Technical Problem Solving & Customer Support 10%

  • Identify the best solutions for customers in collaboration with district and corporate personnel
  • Act as a field troubleshooter by identifying potential issues and coaching customers as needed

3. Planning, Scheduling & Coordination 10%

  • Utilize the 375FS workload report to meet field service scheduling requirements
  • Review blueprints and pre-plan job execution based on best practices
  • Count and verify equipment to ensure accuracy and prevent errors
  • Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to determine project needs

4. Sales & Pre-Sale Technical Support 10%

  • Partner with the Territory Manager to develop customer solutions prior to sale
  • Demonstrate initial cycling of forms with contractors, including set-up, pouring, and stripping
  • Provide scheduling assistance to customers when required

5. Safety Engagement 5%

  • Conduct a minimum of two safety toolbox meetings per month on customer job sites

6. Additional Duties & Special Projects 5%

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
  • Support special projects such as submitting FORM Marks articles

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and passion for construction
  • Able to answer technical questions and deliver high-quality customer service
  • Physically able to travel, climb, work overhead, and lift up to 150 lbs
  • Willing to travel extensively (24 nights per week)
