Our client is a global manufacturer with strong operations across Asia. The Thailand site is growing and requires a strong Finance & Accounting Manager to support operational excellence and longterm business performance.
Job Description
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and costcontrol initiatives for the Thailand entity.
- Drive financial strategies aligned with business goals and provide insights to guide management decisions.
- Oversee preparation of timely and accurate financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Monitor financial performance and produce variance analysis for functional leaders.
- Ensure full compliance with Thai GAAP, tax laws, and international standards such as IFRS.
- Manage corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and ensure all statutory filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain strong internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance with company policies.
- Support internal and external audits and act as key liaison to auditors and tax authorities.
- Lead and develop a team of two finance professionals, driving capability and performance.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to safeguard assets and ensure financial stability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, HR) to support business priorities.
- Ensure accurate SAP master data and coordinate with global and regional finance teams.
- Work closely with local service partners and external platforms to fulfill financial obligations.
- Uphold high standards in Quality, Safety, and Environmental compliance as part of daily responsibilities.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree or CPA is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, Thai accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar systems.
- Strong communication skills in Thai and English, with the ability to collaborate across functions and manage deadlines under pressure.
